The Indoor Pool, Whirlpool, and Spa at Caesars Windsor

As someone who judges a hotel by the quietness of its water facilities and the standard of its housekeeping, I look closely at wellness spaces. At Caesars Windsor, the wellness facilities sit on the second floor of the Forum Tower, offering guest amenities with views across the Detroit River.

The Indoor Pool and Whirlpool in the Forum Tower

The resort’s pool deck is positioned on the second floor of the Forum Tower. It features an indoor swimming pool and an adjacent whirlpool. The dominant feature of the pool room is the view of the Detroit River, providing guests with a direct view of the Detroit skyline while swimming.

For hotel guests, access to the pool deck and whirlpool is complimentary when staying in designated room tiers, such as the Luxury Room category. Swimming early in the morning offers a quiet atmosphere before the afternoon rush. Because the pool is located inside the Forum Tower, guests staying in the Augustus Tower will walk through the central indoor connecting corridors to reach the facility.

When staying with family or travel companions under 19 years old, note that Ontario gaming regulations prohibit minors from stepping onto the casino floor. Access routes to the Forum Tower pool bypass the gaming floor, allowing families to reach the second-floor wellness area without entering restricted age zones.

The Spa by Windsor Arms

Also located within the Forum Tower wellness complex is The Spa by Windsor Arms at Caesars Windsor. Operating as a full-service spa within the property.

As an independent host, I always remind visitors that spa appointments should be arranged well in advance of arrival, particularly on weekends or on evenings when a major show is scheduled at The Colosseum. Spa services are billed separately from room charges unless bundled into specific overnight hotel packages published by the resort.

Fitness Centre and Sauna Facilities

Adjoining the pool deck is the hotel’s fitness centre. Registered hotel guests receive complimentary entry to the exercise area, which includes cardio machines and strength-training equipment.

The fitness area also houses sauna facilities available to hotel guests. Utilizing the sauna after a workout or a swim is free of charge for registered guests. The maintenance of sauna facilities meets standard hotel hospitality criteria, provided guests adhere to posted facility rules and operational schedules.

Navigating Between Towers and Facilities

Because the property spans 758 guest rooms across two main structures—the 1998 Forum Tower and the 2008 Augustus Tower—location matters when planning your morning routine. The pool, whirlpool, spa, and sauna are all situated in the Forum Tower.

If staying in the Augustus Tower, prepare for a moderate walk through the climate-controlled indoor walkway. Guests often prefer wearing footwear and light cover-ups when moving between the Augustus sleeping wings and the Forum wellness floor. You can review layout distinctions between the wings in our guide to Forum vs Augustus or compare room features in our rooms guide before booking your stay.

Practical Tips for Hotel Guests

To make the most of the pool and fitness amenities during your stay, keep a few operational details in mind:

  • Operating Hours: Specific pool and gym hours are maintained by the resort desk and may adjust seasonally or during routine maintenance periods. Confirm current daily hours upon check-in.
  • Age Access: Casino entry in Ontario is strictly 19+ with valid government photo ID, but the pool deck and fitness corridors are separate from the gaming floor.
  • Checklist Preparation: Before head out to the pool or spa, ensure you have your room key card for elevator and door access across the property buildings. Review our guest checklist for general arrival advice.
